Project title: An intervention on Sports Involvement of Athlete Parents: A research on Developing an Evidence-Based Intervention and Randomized Control Trial.

Project's Purpose: To develop an intervention for athletes' parent in accordance with the international scientific standards and to implement this intervention.

Project's Content: How should parents be involved in sports so that athletes can have ideal sports experiences? How should sports parents behave? An intervention based on scientific findings will be developed above mentioned issues, and athletes' parents education will be ensured. This subject, which is very popular in current the international research in the field of sports psychology, is being applied for the first time in Turkey with such a content. The research, in which Sakarya Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports is the project partner, will last 12 months. We will provide up to date information as our project progresses.
