Where is ESPAL?

Exercise and Sport Psychology Research Laboratory (ESPAL) is located at Sakarya University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Sport Sciences, Sakarya/Turkey.

Who are the members of ESPAL?

ESPAL consists of our academic staff and students working with them. You can check all the members in the members section. In addition, the researchers who come to carry out their scientific research with us as visiting scholars are also part of our team.

What does ESPAL do?

The members of Exercise and Sport Psychology Research Laboratory conduct scientific researches about people and their behaviors in sport and exercise activities. Based on the latest scientific information related to exercise and sport psychology, our group also performs in field applications for people who are in need.

What are the purposes of ESPAL?

1) In line with the most up-to-date scientific information, the primary purpose of this research group is to carry out theoretical and applied researches so that individuals, such as athletes, coaches, parents, exercise participants, exercise specialists, sport spectators, referees etc. can have the best experience and perform at their highest potential.

2) Our second aim is to provide training and consultancy services to individuals in need in the field of exercise and sports psychology.

3) Our third aim is to cooperate with individuals and institutions regarding exercise and sports psychology research projects and in field applications.
